I typically take this same approach, but then I look at what he has done to this point. He has gone back on 3 major campaign policies. His first 30 days has been the anti-thesis of transparancy. Most of that is due to congress, but as said before, he is the face of the govt, and this is even more true when his party has significant control of both houses. He has done a 180 on fiscal responsibility with his first spending bill, now there is another bill out there for ANOTHER 410B. The of course you have the lobbiest issue which needs no explanation.
