What point do you have? The quality of schools? The amount of crime in low income areas? The lack of quality parenting among low income families? Race has no play in ANY of these areas except maybe crime, as inner city areas have a higher crime rate than low income white areas. I grew up in a bad neighborhood just outside of Chicago on the Southside. I know all about the broken windows (great essay for anyone intrested in criminal justice or sociology) concept and I believe it is true. If more people took a real intrest in their neighborhood and in their schools MANY of these inequalities would disappear.
