Ah, your statement above was slighty misleading. I thought you were saying that America has reached that point.

I agree with you that we should vote for the better man, but sadly, race IS a variable in this election. I think the IA board has concluded that there are TONS people voting based on race soley. It is what it is. Are there enough doing it to sway the election? I have no clue.

So in the end, it will APPEAR to the rest of the world that we may not be racist, but if you live here, you know otherwise. We have come a long way, but we have a lot left to go.
