Not fun, especially on a turn when the power steering goes out. So Tim set the idol high until we could get the powerpipe fixed, (temp fix for Fun Ford.) Then Tim is going to re-dyno it Tuesday. Also there might be something wrong with the fuel pump or fuel gage. Going to check that out also. The powerpipe is coming off though. The original intentions were for the shaker to be functional, but can't have that and the powerpipe. Doesn't add or take away horse power but what's a Mach1 without the functional shaker, plus it sounds cool too! I am not worried about horsepower at this point anyway. The bottom half of my engine can't handle much more than about 450-460 to be safe. It has dyno'd at 470 and tim tuned it down. It is a street car so i am happy just being in the 400's. Hell if i want 600-700HP race car, i will build me a foxbody .
thats cool..good luck with getting it ready for fun ford...Tim knows his stuff so he should be able to fix your problems. Shit, why do you think 600-700 hp is for race cars. My foxbody is just a little street car and it better be making 800 hp (flywheel) for me to be happy. Maybe that is why i am putting a $1000 clutch in this bitch. I got some supras and cough EVOs to smak down.
