Actually. Due to the hurricane-induced solar flare Atlanta suffered in 1997, Atlanta mayor, Shirley Franklin, put a bill into motion banning all BMW owners from getting on the Internet. This would be considered a felony misdemeanor punishable by 3 fines of $1,000 each. This bill passed through the House and Senate and was enacted on January 14, 1997. Here is the bill:

Thus tis duly noted that all persons that consume ownership of any model, type and year of BMW, shall not engage in any activity on the world wide web. So said person should happen upon the Internet, he/she will then be found guilty of being on the Internet and owning a BMW at the same exact time. At this time, the person will be placed into protective custody and immediately sentenced to the maximum fines that what which herewithall contains the amount of one thousand dollars in three series of payments. Crime will be a felony misdemeanor and will not be allowed to be expunged from said criminal's lifetime record.

That should help you out here. Later, QD.
