invest in a good set of coilovers, if you want to be slammed, look into a camber kit! thats about it

When I had my Ef hatch at first I cut the springs and looked stupid slam!!! But was bouncy as hell,,,I got some some tokico full coilover and struts and had that slammed look and ran smooth not bouncy. Btw I got them at a junk yard for only 200 bucks

I would go with a good set of lowering spring/shock combo rather than some cheap coil-over set up. Cheap coil-overs are only good for the "OMG Stance" crowd. If you are willing to spend more on coil-overs than what Kelly Blue Book says your car is worth be my guest.
H&R, Eibach, RSR... I mean you have a Honda. Probably the biggest selection of aftermarket parts for that car in the world. But don't just look at springs and shocks... You would not believe the difference just switching to Energy Suspension bushing's makes. They are a PITA to install, but make a huge difference in "feel". Don't forget Sway bars etc...
please cut from the top....."bouncy" ride comes from cutting from bottom of spring
chopped springs = win/free/good way to test
im down with cutting them but then you have nothing to go back to, think about it ^^^^^ and cut from the top
