These drive shafts? I think are leaking some strange fluid, im a newbie to hondas, and if anyone knows what this problem is and what I need to fix it, would be greatly appreciated. If you can link me to a website were I can order the parts that'd be awesome!

its easy man....drain tranny, take wheel off, drop LCA, remove axle nut, pull spindle off axle, pull axle out of tranny, put new one in. put everything back and repeat on other side. When you're done, fill trans back up with fluid and clean all that axle grease off your car b/c it is fubar under there.

I believe that it is not nessecary to drain the tranny(unless you want to). Follow his steps and pop it back in just as he stated.

Another option is just replace the boot unless it makes a popping noise while turning (then your axle is prob. fudged), but even then you have to take it out so replacing it doesnt seem like a bad idea.

Also since you are new to hondas buy a manual, great for referring to.

yea but when you pop that pass side axle out you are gonna lose a good bit of fluid. Just makes sense to put good clean fluid in while you are at it. 2 qts of Honda MTF isnt very expensive.

If you jack up only one side of the car, it is possible to replace the axle without losing any fluid. But why bother? Its cheap, easy, and good maintenance to replace it.

I'm going to throw this out there, but don't hit any studs or ends of threaded shafts with a hammer to loosen (IE- removing the spindle from the LCA. Hit the side of the LCA on the radius to unseize the ball joint from the LCA. Once it's broken loose, it'll slide right out. The axle may need some persuasion @ the hub, but if you're replacing it, don't worry about it). Also, don't just pull on the axle- you pry them out of the trans since they have a snap ring.
