    Angry Knock Sensor issue

I've got a 96 civic with a D16z6 vtec swap, it is running off of a p72 ecu from a gsr and vtec will not work, says i gotta bad knock sensor but the z6 does not have a knock sensor, is there any way to bypass that so it will allow vtec to run?
