    i have a 91 crx si with a z6 swap it has a code for the idle air controll valve i have replaced it twice as well as the tps it still has code about 2000 rpms when i hit the throttle it revs up and down is it possible cause the car dont have a four wire o2 sensor that the computer went into limp mode cause i can unplug the tps and iacv and the car still runs

    TPS has nothing to do with the idle, let alone the IACV. seems you may have an electrical problem leading to the IACV, check all connections first.

    Yeah, i'd def. start with checking the voltage and wiring. Make sure you don't have any plugs possibly mixed up. The O2 sensor won't cause limp mode either.

    i have did all that and also replaced the wire from the main plug on the drivers side under the hood and it still does it

    quite lacking.

    probe the wires to insure there is no breaks - continuity testers are fine an d from IACV to shock tower harness is reasonable.
    if your tps sensor is not hooked up, then you will have an issue with proper idling and reving through out the rpm range. it will usually hit a dead spot about 3k if it is not plugged up.
    be sure your map is pluged up as well. 94-95 d series have a map located on the tb. 93 and down have a map located on the fire wall.

    what obd ecu are you running.
