Just do intake header exhaust. The d17 is a waste of money for all motor applications. Nitrous is the only thing I'd do past that and that is pushing it. K20 is about your only upgrade worth doing and staying all motor.

I normally agree with this man but this post isIve seen k swaps get beat by b series and h, unless hes talking serious competition which the k would be your best option but not impossible with a b or h.
off topic, but most K-Swaps around town all all bullchit. nearly every kswap ive seen (minus a palm full) are ghetto rigged, untuned, getto built setups that dont even have the good K engine to begin with.
you would not believe how many people out there think that every K is the same, and that no matter what K you get you will be fast. tsk tsk

im doing a k swap into a 01 civic at the moment, cause the d17 didnt work out too well...not really much you can do

buy the swap and EVERYTHING you need to put it in before you go selling what makes your car run because the funds from a d17 ain't gonna get you very far.
^^^You do understand he has an 01 up civic. There is no B/H swap for those. K swap is basically it for him.

ther are a few civics running around that have the H or b swap that is MEAN. they are flat custom and mega money.
hasport make mounts for the K swap into the 01-05 civic with the D series. if you have a manual, everything is under the hood then. os for the K24, it is screaming for a turbo application.
i would like to see the f20c/f22c or a j32a2 swapped into one of these.
