Default Ls motor, b16 tranny. Need a new ls ecu cause I still have stock b16 ecu.

I have to stay under 5500 rpms since I have a non Tech engine the ecu shoots
    more gas than needed....

Question is if I got JUST a ls ecu would that solve the problem or is there more to
    it?

    Anyone know anything?

Can't you read your own post and answer your question? You have an LS motor.......think about it.

Your a fucking idiot. I clearly know I need the ecu. I asked if it needs anything else to solve the problem to go ALONG with the ecu...

    Way to look like dick.

And thanks to that other poster! Gsrcivic

My post wasn't meant to sound like a dick but since you see it that way

You have an LS motor so use an LS ECU and you are fine. Why would you try to run a B16 ECU on an LS anyways unless it was chipped?

Maybe the guy acquired the car and the ass dumplings he got it from did the set up and hes mearly trying to get insight on the steps to correct it? Because of course we all know you shouldn't come to the general tech to ask questions about general tech. Even if it is a common sense issue god forbid anyone ask for any help. But hey to each his own I guess, lol

    wow, vtec is amazing....

so, if you have a vtec ecu and no vtec pressure switch, vtec will not engage and it will not throw extra fuel in there.. since the ls has no vtec switch, wrather less a vtec pressure switch, it will not engauge. it is going to run ritch a bit being a b16 ecu, but will run a bit more powerfull, just not as economical.
