    Default 96 Integra Gsr vtec goes into limp mode at 6.5k Why?

    So i've tried everything almost Ive put a obd1 computer on it i no my solenoid works vtec does work um the only check engine light i have is ...Manufacture fuel air metering... Now I can't figure out what that means and neither can any of my buddies. But I reset my computer I can go to 8k in 1st and 2nd when third comes along only6.5k it trips a check engine light and limps I really frustrated help please

    Let's start off by using an OBD1 ecu.

    I've already used a Obd1 jumper harness with a Obd1 ECU no good same problem

    first site i clicked on google..........
    "That code is a manufacturer specific code and for Hondas is related to the VTEC solenoid. You said you cleaned the screen, but you still need to either replace the seal or replace the whole solenoid. Low oil or incorrect oil viscosity WILL cause that code to pop up. Fix the leak and do an oil change
    and I'm almost positive the code will go away. "

    Well I have did my research and I found similar information but I've tried changing the oil and actually overfilling it a hair or two i didn't clean the screen because it looked fine ques ill take 20 minutes to try that out now
