    Default 96 civic cx 3dr EK/EJ short shifter and energy bushings install, please help

    As title stated, I need help installing an aftermarket short shifter kit and Energy brand bushings in my 96 civic ( of course manual) need tip or trick from somebody much more Honda knowledgable than myself in a garage install. Thank you, in advance Vteckidd im hoping you have something for me i asked this with you in mind.

    Jack up the front of the car. Put on stands. Unbolt the two back most bolts that hold it to the body. Lower linkage. Unbolt old shifter. Rip off old bushings. Installation is reverse of removal. There are two more bolts that need to be taken off to actually remove the shifter from the linkage.






    Invest in two more things: a Haynes manual or equivalent and becoming friends with Google.
