my dad broke my integra! :( HELP!

okay SO i bought a 97 integra LS last week. the CEL was on. ran the codes, misfire in cyl 1, 3, & 4. it ran a little rough at idle... had the fuel filter replaced & injectors cleaned. cleared the codes, started right up and ran a million times better than before. no sputtering, cutting out, etc. CEL came back on while I was driving. Same codes. So i parked it and drove my blazer the rest of the day. Today I went out to see if maybe the gap on the spark plugs was off. One of em was a little off, so I fixed it, put everything back together and started it up. Ran good, same as before. Then my dad comes out and pulls the plug wire out (cylinder 1) while it was running. When he put it back in, the car stalled, and now won't start. Help?

change your wires and/or your spark plugs..same thing happened to mine. did you take the wires off the distributor cap? if you did you might have put them on wrong and that would cause it not to start.

what it do when you try to crank it? turn over or no?

change out your spark plugs and go from there. does it still sound like its misfiring?

Either a bad dizzy or a fried ecu. Go with the dizzy first. Make sure you're getting spark first to comfirm that. If you're not getting spark, buy a lifetime distributor from the parts store instead of from the dealer.

my friends angry ex girlfriend pulled his spark plug wires out while the car was running and k0 the dizzy i would start there

Toxxxic, I have a whole bunch of stuff from my swap we can try out to determine where the problem is so you don't have to buy anything until the problem is found. It will save you from spending money where you don't need it.

Coil in the dizzy or the igniter! 138 at Acura for coil, and Im not sure on the labor..... But we just had a guy tow his GSR teg up here and he had the exact same problem. Replaced the Coil in it and ran like a champ. He also said he did the same thing.

If in fact it is the coil, I have a replacement coil you can have to save you trouble.

turns out the ignition coil was bad. BUT, its still misfiring in 3 cylinders. I've done spark plugs, wires, distributor cap & rotor, fuel filter, ..... idk wtf else to do
