    Default ATTN: Any1 who can reclear cf hood! willing to pay!!!!

    OK so i've tried to whole reclearing process of sanding it down and reclearing.... i jus can't seem to get it right.... I've already sanded it down to the carbon. I put one layer of spray acrylic laquer. I was wondering if anyone would jus clear it for me. I'm willing to pay. I mean it looks ok but it's not that "wet" look that i want. When the sun hits it....it looks ok but still not what want. But if anyone on here would be willing to help out, i'd gladly throw cash your way and meet up with you.     you sanded all the way to the actual carbon fiber material? There is supose to be a layer of resin over the material. If you went all the way to the material, i doubt clearing it will work. Send me pics of the hood as it looks now. I may be able to help.

    i will clear it for you, i live in dalton ga but would be glad to do it and it will include wet sanding and buffing. lmk

    I called him. i need to meet up with him so he can see my hood... right now i actually need a couple weeks myself till i can give up my hood to get coated... thanks though i'll give him a call sometime...

    if you buy all the materials i will be able to do it just have to bring it to my house and we will have to strip the spray paint clear you put on there because it might react with the clear but well test it and see just give me a call and if you dont have my number anymore pm me and i will give it to you
