Default GSR block & B16 head

Is there by chance anything i should be aware of before doing this? are there any modifications that need to be done to the block/head before putting the motor together?

no, just make sure that you go ahead and put in a new water pump, timing belt, and type r oil pump. Other than that it's pretty much straight forward. If you have the money/time etc. to put in pr3 pistons from the B16a2 then you will get a nice little bump in compression. The GSR block with the GSR pistons in combination with the B16 head will be fairly low compression. You can look in the all motor forum for the "Destruction and reincarnation of 99si's motor" to see my GSR block B16 head setup.
