LOL hate it when that sensors need attention but im sure you know you dont have to completely remove the IM. just unbolt it and slide it towards the firewall. Should give you enough clearanceto fit a wrench , BTW if u have a paper IM gasket i would replace it ( i knwo you said you didnt want to take it off , this way it isnt completely off)Originally Posted by BABY J
Okay... yall know how LAZY I am... NEway. I jacked up the EF 2night and located my broken knock sensor. PLEEZ tell me there is an easier way of getting to this guy w/out taking off the intake mani.It is a B*TCH to get to.
Anybody got some insider tips on removing and replacing this? It seems like it may be a TAD easier if I remove the oil filter --> she's due for some more Royal Purple anyway. LMK.
