I had a friend swap his n/a motor with japanese turbo counterpart. He said it was pretty simple (simple to him might not be simple to everyone else).

he swapped his non turbo motor for a turbo motor... he didn't swap na for na... which is sounds like you're thinking.

you can prob get a used turbo motor for about 1500-2000... then have that installed... which would probably cost about 1500... so you'd be looking at 3500-ish.

You can always put together an aftermarket turbo kit... depending on the parts you use... that'd probably be 2000-2500.(without installation)
