Default Whats the best way to clean a K@n air intake filter

Should I just shoot the filter with a water hose or clean it up by using a wet towel. Also do I have to put k@n oil on the filter

    Remove it from car
    Spray it with degreaser
Clean off degreaser with water hose
shake until water stops coming out
use compressed air to force out remaining water
let air dry for a bit
use oil from recharge kit, be sure not to use to much... especially if you have a MAF car, it will kill a MAF sensor.
