Hey man. Ask Arthur(Manik68). He's got one.
OR
go to autozone. I think they still do free scans
I was talking to Arthur, but his is far away...im trying not to drive out there. If no one else has one then I will though.
Is he coming with you Saturday to AutoFab? Maybe he can bring it then...
Also can AutoZone clear codes or just check for them?
I'm not sure if I'm going Saturday. it's a big maybe.Originally Posted by rollininstyle2004

if you want to get rid of the codes, unplug your battery terminal for like 2 mins or so, always works for me
Tried it already...didnt workOriginally Posted by SPL_Jetta

The stealership claimed nothing was wrong so i doubt its anything major. If it was something serious it would be throwing codes. I only disconnected my negative terminal. I need to try disconnecting both and see what happens...Originally Posted by SPL_Jetta
so no codes? hmm... your car's just running like crap then? Look under the hood. see if one of your coils decided to pop out of it's seat. if so, push it back in.
All the coils are good.Originally Posted by Decker1.8t
There COULD be a code. The dealership claimed to have scanned it and found nothing, but who knows whether they actually scanned it or not...
So no one in Alpharetta or a close area has a vagcom?
Maybe Paul could talk to Brian up at Eurotech ... or maybe Autofab has one.
Walker is going to take a look at it tomorrow so hopefully he can shed some light on the situation.
next time...
