    Default overheating problems

I got a 1990 celica gtx about 9 months ago , aftre the first 2 months it started to over heat after driving for 5 minutes. I put a lot of water in the radiator and it was good for about 7 months without ne overheating problems. then out of nowhere it started doing it again so I put water in it again and it was good for about 2 weeks, then its kept on doing that and the and inow if u put water in it it waill last not even a whole day of driving without over heating. 2 weeks ago i went to florida so i put a new thermostat in hoping to fix it. it worked untill i was about to go home again.I also noticed that whatever substance u put in the coolent tank or radiator is draining from somewhere into the passenger carpet. I have no idea whats wrong but i was thinking it may be the radiator. If anyone has any input or ideas please tell me. thnx
