    Default New motor from honda

So me and my brother took his girlfreinds RSX down to nally for new headlights and I was talking to the sales person about a new car and he informs me that honda is coming out with a 2.3 liter turbo charged motor 240 HP. It will be in the RDX suv I rembered seeing it in car and driver but I forgot until know. He said they will have one in june this year.

I emeditly thought damn that would be sweet in a hatch wonder who will do it frist

Who needs torque when your car weighs as little as an S2k? Torque only benefits your car if it weighs as much as a Bentley. As for your B series engine ruling- thats only because its cheap and common. Not that its a bad thing, but its only the truth. The aftermarket is more open to B series engines because of the sheer numbers of people that are not only looking for more power, but willing to tear an engine apart to find it. Most of the people who own S2000s are happy with the power that we are given out of the box, and past the point of "modding" everything under the hood.
Do you know anything about FI-ed S2000s? They are simply sick. Just ask Seymour who is putting down like 600 hp to the wheels with his.

dont get me wrong Forcefed S2Ks are great! but im still partial to my B's thats all. i have FWD Hondas so i like me FWD swaps. and im startin to like the K's they just need to get to a price i can reach.
i still say Bs "rule" not only because of the aftermarket support but dude... Bs are older than some of the ppl on this forum and they still astound the masses. hell who knows years from now i might say same for the Fs.

Thats true. And don't get me wrong, I am as impressed with B series as you are, but you hit a good point in your response. Both the Fs and Ks are too expensive at the moment for alot of people to do any tinkering with them. Again, I agree with you that people will probably explore more with Fs when the price is not so high. The cost of doing FI on an F will quickly exceed $10k, so I am not trying to go there for a while...

I don't know, I used to be all about the B but the K is just so easy to make power and stay reliable..... Once you start trying to get over 240whp, all kinds of things have to be re-engineered on the bseries... On the K, it is possible with just rods and pistons. No headwork is necessary... even with bolt-ons people are getting well over 220whp, which just isn't possible on the B without a serious build. I really like the F20C and F22C, but the FtoK adaptor plates aren't readily available yet.....

Now if you're talking FI, then the boosted and sleeved B is still king... But hell, even boosted D's are making awesome numbers for chump change.
