    Default mustang wheels on 240?

got a set of 4 lug 17x8.5 ROH ZS wheels that i used to have on my turbo notchback. i just picked up a 91 240 sx hatch for a new DD and it has some junk chrome wheels on it. These wheel have 245/45r17 tires on it.

the bolt pattern is 4x4.25 but not sure on the backspacing (same as offset i guess). i know the later 5 lug mustang wheels fit the dsms so i'm curious if they fit the 240s.

oh yeah and KA owns all. well not really.

I didn't know the 4 lug mustang had a different bolt patteren than the 5 lug mustang. I have a set of 2000 stang gt wheels on my 95 240sx now. You can't beat the price of them and they are just "winter" wheels. Most people don't even know that they are mustang wheels. (the pony is shaved off the center caps) Now you know the stang guys know what they are but most people don't know that 5 lug mustang wheels will fit a 5 lug 240.

yeah the earlier 4 lug cars have a 4x4.25 BC while the later 5 lug is a 5x4.5 which is equal to 5x114 which is the same for the 5 lug 240 i assume.

Yeah the 5x4.5 must be the same as 5x114 cause the bolt up just fine.

i doubt that because all the fox body stuff is the same from 79 to 93 unless you are talking about something before that. The SVO model from 84-86 has 5 lug but its a 4.5 inch bolt circle as well.

hmm... just wondering because i've been finding cobra replicas on ebay that are 17x8 and 4x4.5 pattern and it says they fit some of the older models.

edit: 65-73 6cylinder stangs had the 4x4.5 pattern.
