F22 has less hp and torque to start off with... the crank and rods are the same... so internally the H23 and F22 are the same...

H23 has larger displacement, more torque, more hp. if you can get either one for the same price.. get the H23. but if the F22 is cheaper go with that.

i would go with the H23 and put a H22 head on it... its easier than putting a H22 head on the F22 block

the F22 also has iron sleeves which makes it easier to install forged pistons without resleeving like the H22 and H23
