You have to have the adapter plates and clutch conversion parts etc. Yes they spin the same direction, they would have to for it to work.

I agree the swap is kinda retarded unless you just want a bone stock engine that makes 240hp in your civic instead of spending the same money on a built engine that will make the same power.

Not the case so much anymore. S2000 lacks the aftermarket support and development the k series has. It's routine to see 270-280whp k20-k24 engines on street cars. S2000 engines you almost never see that.
