Default new to honda.. lowered my civic last night...

just some tips.... keep your feet away from front springs when releasing the last bolt! they shoot off like a bat outta hell!

Also: be careful with the front fork ( the things that hold the shock in place on the control arm. they look beast as hell but i can bend them with my bare hands. they are surprisingly weak.

Rear was easy! front took about 4 hours

so im guessing u did not use a spring compressor like your supposed too. to avoid getting killed next time use a compressor. ive never seen a fork i could bend with my hands. u might want to replace it.

It takes about a hour or so to do the job.. Im glad you made it through without killing yourself.. I did know a guy that had a spring comp. but just liked to "shoot" the spring off the strut... To each his own...
