    Default wire harness info needed?!?!

im doing the b20 vtec build and all i need to do now is install the wire harness, i have a b16 head and b16 harness, but when i looked to take the other one out, i noticed the it runs from the ecu and half of the wires go through the fire wall and the other half goes under the dash so i was wondering exactly what do i do about it??

If the harness for the B16 is obd1 then it should be plug and play. Now... your car being a 92, it is already prewired for vtec from honda. All 92 models were done this way.

But like I said, if everything from the main engine harness to your ECU harness is obd1, it is supposed to just plug right in. 2 plugs on the driver side. 1 big and 1 small 2 wire for ignition. Passenger side should have 3 with a 4th that is a dead end for the grounds(yellow wires).

    hope that helps

does you harness go all the way to the ecu with no plugs inbetween the motor and ecu if so you have a obd2 harness not a obd1 cause a obd1 have plugs on the motor harness that plug on the strut towars on each side does go all the way to the computer as a complete on piece harness
