Default 2002 Kia Sedona Trunk Motor Actuator Replacement

my parents have a 2002 kia sedona that needs a new motor actuator for the trunk. shop said it will cost them 250 to fix but the part is only 100

im visiting them for a bit so i was wondering if anyone knew how to replace it. i know a little bit of how to do it but if i could actually get a list of steps that would be great.

i tried looking up how to do it but couldnt find anything. thanks for any help i get.

Your talking about the side door right????

If so they are not that bad as long as you can get the door open, sometimes they will not release and allow it to re open and is a super pain in the ass!
