    Default **** help removing back seats on integra

    i need help on how to remove the back seats on a 2 door 1995 integra. one of the lever to pull down the seat is broken and i cant pull down one of the seat.

    is there any way of unlocking the seat so i can pull it down
    also how do i take off the seats thanks guys

    the back part of the seat or the bottom and top part? how bad did you break that lever?

    hey man. there is a few things you need to do to remove them. remove the carpet from the hatch compartment. then on each side of the fold downs (next to the window) there are two clips that are on the bar that holds them in place, remove those clips, push the seat to the center, and they will come out. the bottome has a screw and it also has two metal things that are keeping it in. once you remove the screw. just pull the bottom up and it should come off easy.

    edit, i actually just red the full OP. this happened to one of my back seats, the plastic lever unscrewed from the metal part of it. just make sure its clipped in on the seat. get a pair of needle nose pliers, grab hold of the metal shaft thats actually the locking mechanism, and pull up, that should release it. if you want to put the plastic peice back on, just try to wedge it to where you can get the plastic peice over the metal shaft and screw it back it, thats all it took for me.

    no problem. should do the trick. i was tryin to figure out why the fuck mine would go down for hte longest time and then that was what did it.

    haha yea i wanted to change my tan inter to black ones and i was trying to remove the back seat but that sucker wont fold down i try every thing but what you said haha ill try when i get home.. did you have to go in side the truck to do that ??

    you should not have to. but that would all depend on the angle your comfortable with at getting it i guess. i did just cause it seemed easier

    had the same problem on my hatch, i took the top part that screws off from the other side and put it on the side that didnt have it, at first i didnt see it have the long rod that it screws into, look around for that

    i just use a plier and clamp it, and pull it if you can
