It will be slightly open and you may see some marks on the pistons.

no marks on pistons the valves arent bent but looking at the pistons looks like i need new piston rings maybe the problem?
I dont think that would cause air to come out the intake. That could cause the low compression though.

there is no way your rings are going to give that issue. how did u check the valves?
took the head off and turned the cam then watched the valves open and close none were stuck or stayed open they all opened the right way
im out of ideas without having the car.
lol i know right shit baffles me to maybe carbon build up effecting my compression? is that even possible?
x2 here. Sorry.Originally Posted by Barefoot

have someone with a brain look at it.

Did you do a leakdown before you pulled the head?
If you feel like it bring it by the shop and I will take a look at it for you.
If the head is still off the car you need to pull the cam out of the head and place the head upside down on a table. Make sure it is level and fill the combustion cambers with water. Wait a little and see if any water has leaked out of any and into the intake runners. This will let you know if you have a leaky intake valve. I have seen were carbon will cause a leak.
However, I don't think this is the entire problem with why it won't run but I may explain the air in intake manifold. Good luck.

The only way for fire to come out of the intake is this ^ or the ignition timing is effed as far as I know.Originally Posted by Barefoot
