    Default D16 vs D17

Just got a 7th gen civic and was wondering what is interchangeable on d16 & d17. I just joined dseries.org but can't seem to find what I am looking for, or just not all in one place.

    Are these parts interchangeable?
    clutch/flywheel
    headers
    cams
    cam gears
    valve springs
    valves
    axles
and whatever else you guys can come up with.....

yea, the motors are way different. i had a 01 civic, with the d17 in it, and its nothing like the z6 in my girl's car.

i dont have any big plans just i/h/e maybe cams, definitley short shifter, clutch/flywheel, wheels and a nice drop nuttin too big. when i search for clutch on ebay it gives all the years of d series. so the clutch/flywheel doesnt fit?

cams will not work, no exceptions to it, intake, would have to be modified since the d17 has that weird carb-like mani, so the intake goes up then shoots off to the side. and the flywheel. not to sure about, never got that deep into the car before i got rid of it.

You are extreamly limited on the d17 I believe speedfos on d-series had the badest d17 around but he is parting it out now.

If you want serious power go with a k swap or a differant car.

If you just want something fun I/H/E and some suspension work will be enough to have some fun when you want.

Yea a few things are interchangeable but not enough to help you in your goals
    TOO BIG
