    on the 89 s10 w/o a/c they arent all that hard. if u have a/c its still not that hard but takes a lil more time. there are some areas that are a bitch but 90% of it is easy.
    if im not mistaken we DO have A/C lemme go outside and check...
    you said it might take a lil more time but how much?
    we can get the part for pretty cheap but round a bout how many hours would Barefoot have to put into it?

    the 2 lines runing into the core pull them out get a coupler stick them together heater cre bypassed. there will be no coolant running thru it to leak out. id recommend that if u dont care about heat.

    ohhhh but... where's the core located? under the dash? i would still have to remove it to get to the lines? or are the lines located in the bay?
    shit i need to get a fuckin Haynes manual

    Heater core is on the inside, behind the dash. The lines are outside in the engine bay. Good luck with the project! BTW, Haynes prob wont be much help pulling the dash out.
