umm if i get my monster running by then i would definetly be down for running it on the dyno.. Plus it will make me decided then whether to step to a bigger turbo then what im already running.

its actually the 2871 not the RS. ( i found the receipt with the 2871 listed on it =) ) And i want to go to a 30r or maybe a 35r but it all depends on the tune i can get. Right now it hits around 3500rpms and holds to about 8300 or so. Its a rocket but its FWD thats the problem. I wish it was AWD then it would be BA. But i do have aftermarket dif and trans stabilzer to help from the front end wanting to go right to left. And its also rolling on big heavy ass 19's. Its pretty quick for what it is. Although i was beatin by a gutted Corrado with a turboed VR6 by about 3 cars on the highway. It would have been more but we let off at around 120.

And thats right if I can step up my turbo,(which will probably happen) then Admin(my brother) gets the 28 for his new GTI. And then we can race. LOL

I want to shoot for 500 at 20psi Daily Driven. But we will see.

    whats done to yours airmax?

I used to get on that site but they are kinda rude to new people. So i really havent gone back. lots of info if you are looking for setups and stuff. But they damn people for trying new and different things. KInda like Vwvortex just b/c there shops cant do things doesnt mean they dont exist.

Mines is stock as it comes, minus what seems to be a tt25 diverter valve. I am still in learn mode with Audi. Sport Pack/Convenience Pack options.

I want to know the quickest way to about 300-325awhp on these things. All over the forums it seems that people are being VERY conservative, and those that aren't have built the motor somewhat. Coming from Subie land, the power seems very hard to make w/o breaking the bank.

For a reliable 300 horsepower you can probably do it by upgrading to a k04 turbo, Downpipe, GIAC (the best software) ,exhaust, intake and front mount. And you should be close to your numbers. Talk to brian at Eurotech he is the man when it comes to your motor. And all that stuff should run you more then about 4000$. You have a 1.8 right?

There is a huge difference in platforms between a subie and an audi. Your audi is a luxury car, subie's arent is the bestest difference.

The K04 will get me 300 to the pavement, or to the crank? I am shooting for 300 to the wheels, reliably. I will have all supporting mods, but the turbo/software choices are confusing me. The more I read, the more pissed I get, lol!

I will call Eurotech and get the expert inside scoop.

    Yes, it is a 1.8t.

i would say you get probably get approx 275whp/325lbs w/ a k04/e05... if you want to make more then that you will need to step up into a gt28r type turbo...

    honestly i would go k04/e05 + GIAC + tt 225 injectors/maf + 3" dp + 3" exhaust + intake + dv + new n75 + larger inlet pipe ... 1.8t motor is good for about 350whp if it is well maintained

yeah the K04 will spool alot of faster then my turbo but you wont get the top end like i have. K04 and GIAC software FTW! Paul saw some awesome numbers on his Ko3 turbo and Giac software. So with a K04 you should be in the ball park of the numbers you are looking for and it will be really reliable. Everything depends on which german built that motor which day. Numbers for the 1.8T very alot....
