GIAC call eurotech tell them Paul from IA sent ya... at the euro dyno day i made the 2nd highest hp and highest torque w/ less mods than all of the competitors (apr, revo, etc.) if a version 14 flash is available for your car thats what i would do, mine made 40hp/70lbs more and i have the dynos to prove it

Am I missing something??? Also, I've known Brian for the last 5 years...GIAC
is the way to got. I've met Garret also, smart guy...
APR has made a name for themselves but GIAC has longer history!!

Since Paul says GIAC ill say APR since they are pretty much the 2 best out there. You cant go wrong with either.

Billy T is a scientist...not literally, but pratically. If anyone wants an APR chip for $500 I can get them for that, Its just at special events. Pauls ETP hook-up is prob easier, closer, and immediate.
Settle it at the track (not even the dyno...) thats when numbers become real world movements.
Good luck, luckily there isnt a bad choice between APR and GIAC... now others ...I dunno...

BTW, Heres my dyno sheet from Dyno Lab,
The car was 03 jetta 1.8T w/ Arospeed p-flow style, and 100 oct programming from APR. (Real chip, not flash)
Note the spikes where I needed a new N75 ..I eventually got the race one, but never dynoed it again....

Nothing wrong with REVO. I put down a slightly better numbers at the dyno than one of my friends with APR. I have no mods and he had DV and CAI.

the reason your dyno #'s were higher is because a CAI robs power from the 1.8 and the DV dosn't improve power... revo is nice and works well but its not quite as aggressive as the apr/giac. but revo also has a sps3 which makes it very nice i think all are good.

BS how much did you pay for APR??? X is only 495$, plus as far as numbers i still have yet to see better dyno numbers w/ APR or Revo

I am not going to get into the middle of this, but I would like to comment that Tylaska is insane. I remember his Passat from back in the day. He blew the longitudinal 1.8T twice in the B5, then he threw it in a MKII and put down 418.7whp in the European Cars uber golf challenge. So that proves if you want the max HP go with a stand alone ems

Other then that, like i posted in the other thread, there are to many variables to say one is better then the other.
