    Default Brakes.... on the buell....

ok so like a month ago(ish) my rear brake froze up on the buell.. only way i could open them back up was to bleed them and pry them open...

now from what i could tell it needed a new master cylinder.. so i finally got one... i put it on yesterday... brakes still will only close and not reopen after letting off the brake pedal!!!

now you may not know anything about bikes.. but i figure brakes are probably all pretty similar!!! if ya'll can help let me know!!!

see if there is a return spring or something to let the brakes move. You may have some metal hardware that is froze up

Sounds like the caliper was fagging out. The piston could've cocked a little bit causing them to not release. OR if you haven't got enough play in your pedal, as the brakes heat up the fluid expands and will lock them up as well. Motorcycle brakes are basically all the same. The locking up because of not enough play has happened to me, trying to shave off that extra half a second a lap by not having to pull the lever as far lol.
