    Default Car caught on Fire.

I was driving back from school today and all of a sudden i start smelling a strong odor of gas. and the CEL popped on. i knew something was wrong so i tried to look for a safe spot to park my car. but before i can park, i start to see some smoke out of the hood. i quickly slammed the brake and turned the car off. Flame was pretty big and saw it comming from the injector area. there was a puddle of gas on the intake manifold right below the injectors. i got in a panic so i took my shirt off and grabbed the flame with my hand.(dont know why i did that but it worked.) the flame went out thankfully, and my hand did not burn that bad. Then i start to see where the gas was leaking from and it was from the injectors. i was only 5 min away from my house so i decided to drive it back home. After i got home i took the fuel rail off and found this.

the bolt that holds the fuel rail was broken in half.. i have no idea how that happened. but thank god my car didnt turn into a firework and burn anything important.

this reminded me of that video of that dude that just put an upgraded turbo on his 1.8T VW and it caught fire. The music playing was "Weezer-Say It Aint So". I thought that was pretty funny
