    Default Valve Lash Adjustment

well, its time that i adjust my valves...this is my 2nd honda and will be my first time doing a valve adjustment , ive bled the lifters in a sr20 before but never a honda...

i have the basic idea , unscrew the lock nut...get out a feeler gauge and adjust it with a screwdriver until there is a little play in the feeler gauge...is there anything i should look out for?

i know it cant be too tight or too loose , it has to be just right...what else?

*edit - cylinders need to be TDC on the compression stroke when adjusting.

    Intake 0.15 - 0.19 mm (0.006 - 0.007 in)
    Exhaust 0.17 - 0.21 mm (0.007 - 0.008 in)

    piston 1 to dtc
then your done rotate the crank 180 degrees
    then do 3,4, and 2

remember when your done to torque them back done to 130ft.

you have to do it in order 1-3-4-2 if it is louder then you got them to loose....if they was too tight they will pop threw the exhaust

you are smoking crack. The flywheel bolts arent even 130 ft lbs

130 ft lbs would shear that 10mm off.

You might be thinking 130 in lbs
