    Default Wont pass emissions?

i have an 03 accord 2.3 vtec auto and it WILL NOT pass emissions is there any way to get it too pass? its throwing a checking engine light for EGR and i replaced it and clean the egr port but it still seems to be throwing the check engine light. Am i missing something? any suggestions.

What was the EXACT code? You might have replaced the EGR for nothing. I hope you still have your old EGR.

Ok. Let me be clear. There's at least 4 different codes dealing with the EGR. There's a P0400 EGR flow malfunction, P0401 EGR insufficient flow, P0402 excessive flow, P0403 EGR flow circuit malfunction. There's more. Like 6 more. What's the exact code, please?

you have to be very exact. Just because a code will have the letters EGR in it doesn't mean that the EGR valve is bad. Hell, those things rarely(well, kinda rarely) go bad. Did you remove the little plugs that look like welch/freeze plugs to clean the EGR ports?

The code means that the EGR valve is fine, more than likely the passages are clogged.

So if she said to take a knife and stab yourself in the kidney because you had a kidney stone, you'd do that too? Or will you find out why you have a kidney stone?
