Default What to look for in buying a 1st g talon

im going up to guinett today to look at a 93 awd talon. 2 hr trip

he said he bought a new timing belt, water pump, head gasket, and radiator, and is gonna give it to me with the trade, the only thing keeping it from running good is the blown head gasket and he drove it for a week without knowing. would that cause the head to be warped or would it cause any other BIG issues in the motor?

i have ideas on what to look for, i know the general things...but the head gasket on his is blown and its kind of iffy if i can't drive it home or if i should put the new head gasket he has on there and drive it home..

he wants to straight up trade for my rx7 1986 rx7 NA with 120k miles, very clean, runs GREAT. i just dunno. im not gonna rush into it.

    thanks

Look for a couple of torn condom wrappers in crevices, remnants of fries, burgers & general sh*t on the seats and floor mats, newspapers & clothes in the trunk and bird poo & tree sap on the outside.
    Okay, I'm still drunk.

check for leaks and also there was a recall on the transfer cases. see if that has been done. also check out specific vehicle forums
