you need a long a$$ sissy bar , find you a bar that will fit over your handle on your ratchet , the longer the better , i just used a 13' piece of pipe to break one loose on my bro's crx

^^ thats exactly what i did , snapped one ratchet and bent the other one 90 degrees...

oh, how hard is it to take a motor out from under the car? im guessing normal jacks can not jack the car high enough? it seems alot easier than pulling it from top

its actually easier to get the motor out from underneath the car.Just put a tire there to sit it on.
Might have to take the head off so you can slip it under

Wait, you use the torque wrench to open? Torque wrench is used to tighten only!

lies............... go buy a nut splitter or a drimmel or air chisel and get it off. Its seized and isnt gonna brake loose no matter what you try. Last time i had that problem went through 3 breaker bars, A torch a ratchet, 250ftlb impact with not luck

Put the breaker bar (or whatever you're using) on the nut with the bar resting on the ground. Hold the bar on the axle nut, and get someone to get in the car and dump the clutch. It'll break it right loose.

Its easier to pull a motor from the top unless you have a lift, I hope your using Craftsman tools!

alright well, i had to cut the rubber boot and hammer out the bearings and ****ed my axle a new hole...oh well, it had to be replaced anyways...

motor is out now...did not come out so easily because the driver side torque mount screw **** hit the chassis and i had to unbolt the entire A/C bracket...

oh and i did blow torch the nut and impacted it, also broke a breaker bar on it also...IT IS STILL IN THE HUB.

Had the same problem a few weeks ago. We soaked it with PB Blaster first, and after breaking about 5 ratchets or so and trying to heat it up, we bought an impact gun. I know this sounds crazy, but it works; Instead of trying to loosen the nut, try to tighten it, that'll get it to slightly move and then it'll come right off, well at least for us it did

take assemble apart, like 2-3 bolts lift it out from that bottom joint and take the whole assembly to a shop that has a high impact, i took mine to one and the guy made me look like a dumbass, he set it on the ground got his impact and it came right off first try. and belive me I tried everything you did

and old mechanic always told me...if it's stuck, tighten it, then loosen it, will never break a bolt.

and I have a 750ftlb snap on impact, and I've never had any trouble getting axle nuts off, not matter how old they were...your gun was just to weak.

That's a good last resort, but I suggest he tries what to tighten it first. Trying to tighten it should break it loose and then he can take it right off

Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.

hey man just so you know, you can really screw up your torque rench that way. by using it to loosen things that tight. get a breaker bar.
or what ive done. get a long pipe and put the handle of the tool in it, then you have a lott more leverage when you push down. hope this helps.

Your sissy bar is only has strong as the weakest link its attached too. 1/2" or 3/4" breaker bar?

    I went to Harbor Freight and got a 3/4" x 25" breaker bar for $15-20 but they didn't have a 3/4" 32mm socket so used a 32mm 1/2" drive with a 3/4" to 1/2" adapter. I think the total cost was $30-35.

Thoroughly soak with PB Blaster and slip a steel jack handle over the 3/4" breaker bar...I guarantee you it will come right off.
