Thread: can you run a radiator on a 95 dx without the overflow?

    i dont know all the synonyms but overflow, you mean the reservoir where antifreeze goes in or get sucked out from? if so.. use a bottle... and run a line to the bottle.. dont seal it up because it might build up alot of pressure then blowing ur radiator.

    You cant do that when the radiator overflow tube is broken and sealed off thats the whole issue. It holds water but there is no way to put an overflow jug on this radiator because of this. Every car Ive ever owned has had one or something rigged up in its place but the guy I got the radiator from said it would work that way just not sure how. Seems the pressure has to go somewhere .
