Ive used it for RC cars and lights, works well. Make sure you do a few light coats, and make it realllllly even.

Yeah the spray stuff can be hard to get to look even, I would DEFINITELY practice on something. My orange lights are sprayed:

Daytime is a little harder to see, but still legal. At night it's about the same. I've been looking for some more, where did you buy that can?

P.S. - I have the bumper lights that we sprayed in my garage cause he sold that car, if interested in them LMK, that way if you don't like them you can put yours back on. PM me!

    Lamin-x makes tint film.

If you're going to use this stuff, make sure you clean the lenses well, then put a layer of clear coat over it BEFORE the niteshade. Then, do as many even coats of the niteshade you want to get the desired effect. Then clear coat over the niteshade again. Keeps it from dulling, and gives it a deeper effect.

Well, to be honest Ive never used that particular product, so I dunno maybe it does suck ass (and user error is a factor too Im sure). I always take my time and actually prep the lights, so maybe thats the difference.

VHT makes the sticky track prep stuff, and most people just call it 'VHT'.

btw, I'd like to see some pics of your lights. I did mine the same way on my EP, only I didn't prep them well or clear them and they faded after just a couple of washes, and after a few months of rain and washing it was all but gone.
