    You can get 9A mk2 16v head and euro 50 mm intake and you as close to the e-code ABF 2.0 16v motor that never made it to the states. with the simple head swap.Doing this should put you around 145 to 160 hp.

    stock compression is 10:1, if you swap a 16v it drops to 8.5:1 compression

    you have to get the pistons or shave the hell out of the head to get it back up. Or you can throw in a TDI crank for a stroker kit.
