This is the new '07 crankshaft next to the older crankshaft. Fully counter balanced FTW. I'm glad I put my nose in service manuals and told people it should be a direct swap, even though I couldn't do it first, I wasn't going to keep it to myself.
This is the crank that will be going into the next N/A build Will is doing. I fully expect this next build to hit near the 240-250whp range NA, and with the extra revs this new crank is good for, it should be a 13's NA car.
I'll be using the same crank in my turbo build and reving to between 7000-7500, which is way better than the 6200 I can get now.
As it is now I have to shift to 5th before the end of the 1/4. If I swap the final drive out for a 3.8 from a Maxima and rev to 7200, the end of 4th would be good for 132mph, right now it gets me to 98mph, lol. Leaving teh final drive alone would get me to 122mph at the end of 4th.
It's been 5 years since this motor came out, but it's finally going to start kicking the ass it should.
