just a slight correction:
tuners with money would rather have a stock car to build from.

thats what i was thinking....i hate to say it..but i think i am about done with the car thing....but i may keep this car until it dies...it is almost paid for
i to have some cheap coil over and they bounce like crazy.. ur best bet would be to get some skunk2 coil overs....
for those wit coilovers? yall ride is gonna bounce! 2 prevent that u gonna have too buy shocks. thats coilovers now. but shorter springs? now thats what u want girl. that well give u a smoother ride wit or wit out performance shocks. not as much of a bounce.
ebay is garbage, get real parts or stay stock
good thing im not an english teacher. i believe i would have a field day with that.Originally Posted by tig3rpaw

anyways, if you want less bounce, buy nicer shocks. i reccomend koni, but tokico or kyb will work. softer spring rates will help a little bit, but then you risk bottoming out.

if you want a better ride
BUY REAL COILOVERS
and no ksport doesnt count
im asian! stick to american cars buddy! if yall dont know **** bout rice cars? u break, u buy!

its all about spring rates.
Im guessing you prob didnt replace your struts either when you did the coilovers.
If you are slammed on the ground you have almost no suspension travel and that will cause the "bouncy ride"
raise the car up, and you should see a difference

try eibach
You could just buy different rate springs from Eibach and put them on the sleeves.
But I see you went back stock.
your shocks are shot by now shocks stop the bounce you can blow a stock shock just by lowering the tire to the fender just to see what it would look like
i put some ebay coilovers on my girls car with stock shocks n struts n ride was horrible so i went n bought some eibach lowering springs n the ride was jus like stock if not better
