    Default help with alternator belt

    hows it going IA i have a 94 nissan sentra. my alternator belt came off and i was hoping someone here on IA could tell me how to but it back on. Thanks alot for any help u guys can give.

    1) locate belt tensioner for the alternator and loosen it. (it may be part of the alternator like Honda does)

    2) take your new belt, wrap it around the crank pulley and alternator pulley

    3) tighten the belt tensioner until you believe it to be sufficently tight. (where it will not slip under load)

    4) give me some reps, cause I'm a genius

    i would but all the other belts are in my way

    buy a manual for your car, itll tell you how to do all sorts of things lol

    they all have adjustment or tensioning points you will jsut have to loosen and take the others off and put them back on tensioning them from back to front, please buy a haynes manual soon
