Default Clutch install in Atlanta Area?

This has been going on and off for a while now, but now it's all the time.
My clutch pedal is impossibly hard to push down, and my clutch doesn't disengage when I FREAKING stand on it to push it down. When I disconnect my slave cylinder from the transmission the pedal is easy to push down so something is stuck/frozen in the clutch area of the tranny (not sure exactly what, pilot, throwout who knows..)

I live in an apartment complex and although I'll do day jobs on my car here dropping the tranny is out of the question.

If I'm going to have a shop drop the tranny I might as well have them replace the clutch and all that good stuff. Does anyone have any recommendations on any shops around here that would do it for around $300 labor if I brought in my own parts?

    It's a 1992 240sx

    Thanks.

Were you hearing any type of noises before this started? Normally, pilot bearings are known for causing grinding when going into gear. But I don't think Nissans have pilot bearings so we can eliminate that. Let's pray like hell that the throwout bearing isn't frozen to the shaft it rides upon. If so, I don't know too many people that will be able to smoothen out the shaft. It will be possible to save it. Can't give you any promises. PM me.

    K series 626. That's right. It's got a K in it.

sounds like something is stuck in your pressure plate. does your clutch have a sprung hub (does it have dampening springs?) sometimes one of the springs will come apart and get stuck in the teeth of the pressure plate, which keeps it from disengaging.

I guess I should mention that I can shift gears fine with the car off.
I can also start the car in 1st gear and shift into other gears with the car running with no clutch fine.

Not sure if that helps at all.
