it will run on that ecu but you should just do a 5 spd swap it is not hard to do

I always thought you couldnt do an auto b-swap (or atleast it wasnt easy) in a civic due to not having a correct tranny mount, room for the transmission, and axles problems.

Anyways you can find b16's with auto trannies for alot cheaper than 5spd swaps. Just holla at jhot because I know they have plenty of auto b16s and gsr swaps.

You could do the auto swap but the problem would be the ecu. What ecu will run the automatic DOHC VTEC motor. The GSR wouldn't run that great because of the butterflies and the difference's between that and the GSR.

I was told by a friend that I would have to get a auto b16 ecu but he didnt tell me which ecu it was. So should i not use a LS tranny? or should I go for the auto GSR? I just want it done right Im trying to keep it close as possible to stock?

hmotorsonline.com Very good quality I just bought my motor and tranny from them. It took about a week and shipping was $250 for the engine, and $150 for the transmission.
