Default BEST way to replace Alternator on CRX?

What is the EASIEST/BEST way to swap an alternator on a CRX?

The engine bay is so small so I figure someone has to know a special trick to getting it out, the 1st time I did it I had took off the brake cylinder for the alternator to come up and out. I've also heard of taking the intake manifold off but I'm sure that is not the easy way.

    Suggestions/Tips please!

I thought you could pull it out form the bottom of the engine.

remove the tire, twist it, and try to fit it through the opening near the axle.

Run it along the back of the motor, and pull it out on the transmission side. You have to fight with the heater core hoses and shit but it works. Thats how I did it with my 91 civic hatch. Depending on your motor, obviouslys ome take up more space than others. Mine only had a D15 in it so.

Should I tell you the real way to do it, seeing as you have equal length drive axles just like I do? It doesn't involve removing the brake master cylinder, or the intake manifold.

    Directions for alternator removal:
    By: Chris

    1. Drive CRx into an infiniti garage and put it up on your lifts like you fucking own the place.
    2. Have bored mechanics remove transmission and axles.
    3. Get laid by current girlfriend
    4. Lower car
    5. Bring in hydraulic cherry picker, compliments of infiniti
    6. Get blowjob from current girlfriend
    7. Put away some parts that just came in on the truck, but not too many.
    8. Fiddle on IA.
    9. Tell mechanics to pull your engine while you're getting laid in your 4runner
    10. Unbolt alternator.
    11. Bolt on new alternator

To reassmble, reverse steps 2 through 9 paying close attention to steps 3, 6, 9, and most importantly, step 8.

Besides the fact that I have already replaced it 3 times. I know how to make it happen by now.
