    Default 95 civic dx mini me help!!!

    not sure if right area to post this but pls move if wrong section
    ok, I did and mini me vtec swap on my 95 civic dx. 97 D16y7 block with a 95 civic ex head. And the problem i have is why it doesnt rev pass 2k.Im using a stock brand new d16y7 timing belt (same part# as d16z6 T/B) i got the car running idels fine, but it wont rev pass 2k. We used a stock p28 ecu, change to p06 stock dx ecu. still no luck if there is any1 that kno what can be wrong pls reply need it running good asap.

    check the timing belt, not the ignition. This problem is typical when the cam is not lined up correctly. I'm sure you have CEL's right? Whats popping up?

    fixed it, it was the fuel rail..
